Give, Kiss, Love, Create, Live Healthy – Your New 5 a Week

3 Aug , 2014

Are you all ready for the next five challenges I have prepared for you! I hope you are, because it is time for them!

I know that kissing, showing love and taking care of our loved ones and of us are things that should come naturally, without thinking about them too much. We live in an unfortunate times, I am afraid. We are swamped with information that we cannot process, we have things to do that we physically can’t accomplish in 24 hours and we have worries that squeeze all our energy. All this results in our inability to remember elementary things  – to kiss, to give to the less fortunate, to forgive, to live healthy, to make things ourselves, to be happy… We shouldn’t need a list of 5 to do these on a daily basis.

5 Weekly Challenges

#1

Prepare Herbs and Olive Oil Ice Cubes

These healthy vegan cubes can serve as the base of almost every dish. Stimulate your taste buds and nostrils with a healthy tasty meal. You can melt butter instead of olive oil, if you wish to do so – here is more about these divine herbs and olive oil cubes.

#2

Kiss a lot.

Kiss your spouse more than you usually do! Kiss your children too! You will see they would want to kiss you back! Did you know that kissing reduces blood pressure, relieves cramps and headaches, fights cavities, releases happy hormones, burns calories, boosts your self-esteem, tones your facial muscles and improves your immunity. Case closed! Besides remember the words of an inspirational woman:

“I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.”

And, yes! That was Audrey Hepburn’s quote and I adore her classy and positive attitude towards life!

#3

Paint a Pair of Toms

There is nothing better than to be asked where you got your beautiful toms from? Imagine the reaction of the other person when you say you made the pair yourself! Note: If you carefully follow the instructions you might end up making toms for all your friends and family members. Make sure you charge them accordingly.

#4

Explore the Numerous Benefits of Rose Water

I’ve become so fond of rose water because it is all natural and universal. Its magical, precious oil helps trap water and moisturizes the skin, without making it oily. I have a mixed type skin and it helps me balance the difference between the T-zone and my cheeks. Rose water also helps women with dry and sensitive types. It is like a universal tonic that energizes, smoothes, moisturizes, cleanses, nourishes and relaxes the skin after a long day. To top all that, rose water has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

You can find in most online cosmetic stores, pharmacies or coesmetic shops, or find more here.

#5

Give.

Make a donation, sell cookies, craft some cards with your kids and sell them for a good cause, prepare a meal and give it to a homeless person. There is so much you can do to help someone in need. Here are 45 more examples how you can help!
