New Week – New 5 Challenges

Another week, another five challenges. I think it is catching up to me now and I look for another challenge just like I am trying to get my 5-a-day.

1. Do something for the future

Have you ever done something solely on faith that you might need it in the future? And I am not talking about emergency medicine kits and other safety stuff. I am talking about your dreams and aspirations! I knitted this baby blanket, even though I don’t have kids and am not with a child presently. Show your faith in something, by taking a small step towards your dream. It sounds crazy, but it feels so good. You dream of a wedding? Find something old and keep it for when the time comes, or knit your very own wedding bouquet. If you dream of a new home – make a wreath and wait till you can hang it on the door of your new house. Sometimes these acts of faith are all we need to help us move forward! In addition, the items feel all the more precious when they have an attached meaning of this kind.

2. Prepare tasty chocolate raspberry brownies

Chocolate comes from cocoa, which comes from a tree, which makes it a plant. Therefore it counts as salad! Enough said! Get your apron on! Here’s the recipe.

3. Try an all natural foundation for your face

I found this foundation that is stripped of all artificial colourants and uses the fruit’s natural pigments. It is a full coverage and provides good protection from the sun as well. It is gluten-free and vegan friendly! I was very excited to try it on and I am very happy with it!

4. Prepare a breakfast in bed

It’s winter time in Australia and we all need a bit of pampering. A breakfast in bed is one of the best ways to start your day with your loved one.  Here are additional 5 ideas for a cosy Aussie winter.

5. Clean behind the furniture.

Not a particularly pleasant challenge, but it is good for you and if you don’t believe me I will try to convince you. First of all, it will get the job done i.e. your home will be cleaner and healthier. Second of all it will get you to move around. Did you know that cleaning is a pretty good exercise?
