Healthy. Quick. Yummy!
Spending a lot of time to cook a healthy, delicious meal is a luxury not everyone can afford. This often results in poor meals and plenty of fast food that is easily available everywhere and is not costly at all. Okay, but we all know that good things often take time and effort, so is there ever a way to maintain a healthy diet and a busy work schedule? Yes. With a little bit of imagination and this sesame chicken recipe.
(Servings: 2)
2 chicken breasts chopped in pieces.
1 tbs sesame
8-10 asparagus stems;
4 tbs rice
4-5 cloves of garlic;
2 onion stems;
Olive oil;
1 tbs honey;
1 tbs of soy sauce;
Mix the honey and soy sauce in a bowl. Add the meat and leave in the fridge for 1 hour. Boil the rice and prepare as specified on the package. Get a pan and add the sesame for 4-5 minutes to cook on its own. Take it out. When the chicken is ready, pour 1 tbs of olive oil in the same pan and add the asparagus stems. Let them cook for 15 minutes, or till ready. Take them out and leave them aside. In the same pan (yet again) add the chicken and cook. It shouldn’t be raw. You should have a bowl and some marinate left in it. Don’t throw it in the sink just yet. Add 4 chopped cloves of garlic and 2 chopped fresh onion stems. Add the mixture to the chicken and leave it for 10 more minutes.
On a plate arrange the rice, asparagus and the sesame chicken. Enjoy in good company with a glass of wine. It is a very easy, yet tasty and fancy dish.
